A Country Music Club for All Ages

We’re a volunteer-run country music club where everyone is welcome — first-time singers, seasoned pickers, families, carers, elderly and assisted adults, and people who simply love being in the room when the music is playing.

All ages Inclusive & supportive Walk-up friendly No experience needed

You don’t have to perform to belong here — listeners and supporters are just as important as the people on stage.

Membership levels

How Membership Works

Our membership structure is simple. We have paid financial memberships for people who want to formally support the club, and an honorary Life Membership that is awarded in recognition of outstanding service.

Financial Members
Paid

A financial member pays an annual membership fee and receives full member benefits as set out in the Constitution. This helps keep the club running — from hall hire and insurance through to sound, lighting and community events.

Supports weekly club nights Helps fund upgrades to the clubrooms Eligible for club programs & awards*
Memberships
Open

“Memberships” covers our financial members as a whole — from performers and band members through to people who quietly support the club from the audience or behind the scenes.

Open to all ages Performers & non-performers Country fans & community supporters
Life Membership
Honorary

Life membership is an awarded and honorary membership. It is granted by the club in recognition of outstanding and sustained service to the Country Music Club of Southern Tasmania.

Our members

Who You’ll Find at the Club

Our members come from all walks of life. Some have been playing country music for decades. Others are stepping on stage for the very first time. Many just love being part of a friendly, familiar crowd every Tuesday night.

First-time singers finding their feet Seasoned pickers with stories to tell Families and carers Elderly & assisted adults Country fans who simply love listening

Performers

Singers, guitarists, bass players, drummers, harmonica players and more. Some bring polished sets, others are learning on the go with the support of our house band and regulars.

Listeners & Supporters

Not everyone wants a microphone in front of them. Many of our members prefer to enjoy the music from their seat, help with raffles, welcome newcomers or simply be part of a friendly community.

All Ages & Abilities

We aim to be inclusive of all ages and abilities. We do our best to create a space where people feel safe, respected and able to join in within their own comfort level.

Volunteers & Behind-the-Scenes Crew

From running the door and the BBQ through to sound, lights and set-up / pack-down, our volunteers are the backbone of the club. Many are also financial members who choose to contribute extra time and energy.
